Great food, great service. Had a great time with all kinds of "friendly people". The band SockMonkey was fabulous, kept the dance floor full all evening! We WILL be going back :)

We went there on 01/22 thinking the place would be comparable to the one on Sunshine. Wow were we mistaken! When we got our burgers, they were still RAW in the middle! Had to take them home and finish cooking them. The atmosphere was ok, but the wait staff was very uninterested in people eating, more interested in the people just drinking. Bigger tips, fine, but people just eating can tip just as well if treated right. We won‘t be going back to that one. Sunshine will be our mainstay.

This place is fun... Good drink prices, good live bands. The crowd is cool. A lot of older people there, but there is some younger crowd too. This place has soul

To the 2 "Touch" ladies who gave a bad review...go back to "Fake Land". There is not a fake bone to this place, it is what it is..great food..great Thur band...friendly people of all ages. Maybe a vent system for the smoke..but who cares you are having so much fun dancing!

Great local hangout. Super wait/bartender staff. Old school all the way. Smoker friendly but not to smokey for our group of non-smokers. Great variety of regulars and newbies alike. Clean and great bathrooms. The food was great and the portions were huge. We will definately be going back.

Restaurant W.F. Cody‘s is a Great Place to Dance

W.F. Cody‘s, a small restaurant on Republic St., is a great place to go and get your groove on. With a dance floor, low (but not dark) lighting and regular live bands, Cody‘s will have you up and swinging in no time!
The menu has lots of variety from a fancy steak to a juicy burger. The food comes in smaller portions then some might expect, but is quite delicious and very inexpensive. Cody‘s does have a bar for people who want an alcoholic beverage but unfortunately no one under 21 is allowed after 10:00 pm, so it‘s not really the best place for young families. It‘s also not a very good place for teenagers, since most people there are older.
Another bad thing about Cody‘s is the smoking. It is a smoke-friendly establishment and since it‘s a rather small area you are choked by the smoke the instant you walk in. That cigarette smell will hang all over your clothes when you leave.
The service was great, they were very attentive, but they didn‘t hover. Overall, I give this restaurant 3 stars.

Terrible food. Awful service. Crappy looking waitress. No class. Hole in the earth. Creepy old men hanging around. We will never go back. When we saw the food for the first time, we thought to ourselves, Well, nevermind what we thought to ourselves. Terrible Terrible Terrible. Tell your wait staff to put some clothes on, and learn some good service etiquette. Boo!

all of a sudden after going to W F Codys for 31 yrs. they wont except checks no more so if you are used to this.... be prepared to change venues.

This little neighborhood bar and grill serves the best hamburger and fresh cut fries youll find anywhere. The service is down home and the drinks are great. In this day and age they are one of the few smoker friendly establishments left. Clean and homey is the way I describe this little hoppin joint. Old school bartenders, low lights, great music make me keep coming back for more.
